The coconut palm was introduced in Brazil in 1553 by the Portuguese. The fruit of the coconut palm can be consumed in different ways, more specifically its water, pulp and fiber, a fruit widely used in food, cosmetics and natural medicine, with bactericidal, antiparasitic antioxidant, hypoglycemic, hepatoprotective and immunostimulant properties.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Its main benefits are in its seed, which, when ripe, has many vitamins, minerals and trace elements, i.e., essential nutrients for our organism.
